Vendor Import from Spectrum

Objective: To have a vendor & vendor member import into Trimble Pay from your ERP system. 

Prerequisites: 

• AP Vendors will import into Trimble Pay when they are assigned to a AP Subcontract in Spectrum that has been imported into Trimble Pay.

• Vendor Members will be imported into Trimble Pay when the AP Vendor is imported into Trimble Pay. The vendor member is pulled from the Vendor email field on the AP Vendor record in Spectrum. 

Tutorial: 

Automated Sync: Vendors and vendor members will be imported into Trimble Pay, and automatically assigned when AP Subcontracts are imported into Trimble Pay from Spectrum. 

Result: The AP Vendor & Vendor Members will be automatically assigned to the subcontract in Trimble Pay, and a new vendor record will be created in your vendor list with a vendor member email populated based on the Vendor email field on the AP Vendor record in Spectrum.

Vendor Status & Import Behavior:

• Vendors can be set to Active or Inactive in Spectrum
  • Trimble Pay should only see Active vendors
• Automatically assigned when subcontracts are imported
• Vendors cannot be unassigned in Spectrum

FAQ / Misc Notes:

• • Vendor members are populated via the “Vendor e-mail” field from Spectrum. 
  • If the field is changed to different email in Spectrum, a new member is added to Trimble Pay and nothing happens to old vendor member created in Trimble Pay.
  • If the field is deleted, nothing happens.
