Index:
Objective: To create a new project in Trimble Pay from an existing job in your ERP system.
Prerequisites:
- JC Jobs in Vista must have a Status = Open (0 in Vista) in order to appear on the project import screen in Trimble Pay.
- Recommended: Populate the Jobs_State field in Vista prior to importing project into Trimble Pay.
Tutorial:
Step 1: Click on "Integrations" tab in the left hand side menu bar.
Step 2: Click "Start import" on the Vista integration tile.
Step 3: Click the check box next to the job you would like to import. Then click "Next".
Note: We recommend you only import one job at a time for faster processing time and prevent the risk of duplicate data from getting created.
Step 4: Review the project you selected to import. Then click "Import".
Result: The project you just imported should show up on your project dashboard.
Note: The "county" field will be left blank under project settings. Please update before moving forward.
Next Steps: Complete project setup in Trimble Pay: add internal "Members", turn on lower tier tracking under project "Settings" (if applicable), assign your "Billing requirements", determine your "Billing periods", and set up additional "Compliance" requirements (if applicable).
You subcontracts, vendors, and change orders will flow over to this project automatically when they reach their correct status. For more information reference these articles:
